Founded in 2025Non-Profit Reg. No. 1173Lebanon & the wider region

Prevent to Protect Communities is a specialized safeguarding organization dedicated to strengthening protection systems for children and vulnerable populations across schools, entities, and community environments.

Founded in 2025 by qualified social workers, educators, and safeguarding specialists, the organization translates evidence-based practices into effective field interventions, ensuring that every individual, especially the most vulnerable, lives in safety, dignity, and justice.

Our work fills a critical regional gap. Despite frequent reports of violence, abuse, and systems failures, few organizations offer a comprehensive model that combines consultancy, policy development, professional training, and advocacy under one unified safeguarding framework. Prevent to Protect Communities bridges this gap by empowering entities, professionals, and communities to prevent harm before it occurs.

We seek strategic partnerships and funding support to expand our services, enhance institutional safeguarding systems, and build sustainable protection structures that serve thousands of children and families across Lebanon and the wider region.

Prevent to Protect Communities was founded to transform research and practical experience into evidence-based solutions that safeguard children and vulnerable groups.

OUR VISION

A society where every individual lives free from harm, supported by just, inclusive, and resilient systems that uphold safety, dignity, and human rights.

OUR MISSION

To strengthen safeguarding systems across the society by providing evidence-based assessment, training and awareness, and policy development that prevent harm and empower organizations to respond ethically, effectively, and compassionately.

OUR COMMITMENT

Building systems that prevent harm, respond with empathy, and empower communities to champion justice and dignity.

OUR APPROACH

Why our work matters

Across the region, cases of violence, neglect, and exploitation continue to arise in spaces where safety should be guaranteed. Field reports and partner organizations highlight persistent gaps in:

  • Child protection systems in schools and nurseries
  • Safety protocols in recreational and learning environments
  • Institutional case-management procedures
  • Staff training and policy implementation
  • Public awareness and reporting mechanisms

Numerous incidents, including sexual harassment, bullying, physical violence, and neglect, demonstrate that protective systems remain fragmented, inconsistently applied, or completely neglected.

Prevent to Protect Communities responds to this urgent need by transforming safeguarding from a reactive process into a proactive, prevention-driven model rooted in international best practices, trauma-informed approaches, and the professional ethics of social work.
